ABSTRACT

Artificial intelligence (AI) has shown a tendency to replace human brain intelligence, and its rise has led to significant social changes. AI has pioneered the historical process of human-machine co-evolution. In the embedding of AI into medicine, it can be seen that there are a wide range of medical application scenarios. Intelligent medicine based on AI technology is of great significance, achieving spatial transmutation under spatial connection and value release under data mining. Intelligent medicine occupies a "high-level position" in value evaluation. Intelligent medicine has become a risk complex due to its tendency towards de-subjectivity of doctors, questioning the effectiveness of the intelligent algorithms, increasing difficulty in protecting information security and individual privacy, and indifference to medical humanistic care. To prevent the risks of intelligent medicine, it is necessary to reasonably define the relationship between AI and doctors, effectively prevent the risks of intelligent algorithms, increase the protection efforts of patient data security and personal privacy, thickly cultivate humanistic care in AI, and promote the improvement of the scientific and technological ethical governance system through ethical review.

ABSTRACT

Artificial intelligence algorithms play an important role in the medical field with their unique technological advantages and operational logic. However, due to the " black box" nature and security flaws of artificial intelligence algorithms, there were problems in the application of intelligent medical algorithms, such as the alienation of medical personnel′s subject status, the alienation of right to informed consent for diagnosis and treatment, the alienation of health fairness, and the alienation of health information security. At the same time, there were some practical difficulties in the process of regulating risks, such as the difficulty in determining the responsibility of the legal person, the incompleteness of the causal chain, the lag of the scene regulation of laws and regulations, and the increasing difficulty in protecting health information. In order to prevent the alienation of power in medical intelligent algorithms and promote the healthy development of intelligent medicine, the author suggested to adhere to the embedding of tool attributes in the underlying logic of medical algorithms, enhance the interpretability of medical algorithms, improve relevant laws and regulations, and strengthen the risk supervision mechanism of intelligent medical algorithms.

ABSTRACT

With the rapid development of digital technologies represented by artificial intelligence, big data, and cloud computing, the concept of intelligent medicine has emerged. As an in-depth integration of the national strategies of " Healthy China" and " Made in China 2025" , intelligent medicine is widely used in the full-course management of the urological diseases, including disease screening, diagnosis, treatment strategy and follow-up. This article aims to review the application progress and prospects of intelligent medicine in urological diseases and provide references for the urologists.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE@#To evaluate the application of three-in-one intelligent screening in outpatient pre-inspection in children's hospital.@*METHODS@#We randomly enrolled 100 children pre-screened by traditional method in the outpatient department of Children's Hospital of Zhejiang University from February 6th to 16th, 2020, and another 100 children by the intelligent three-in-one mode from February 17th to 27th, 2020. The traditional triage was conducted by nurses based on face-to-face, one-by-one interview of the epidemiological history and consultation department, and the temperature was measured before manual triage. The intelligent three-in-one model combined online rapid pre-inspection and triage, on-site manual confirmation, as well as synchronized online health education system. For on-line registered patients, the system automatically sent the COVID-19 epidemiological pre-screening triage questionnaire one hour before the appointment, requiring parents to complete and submit online before arriving at the hospital. The on-site registered patients were controlled at 100 m away from the hospital entrance. The nurses guided the parents to scan the QR code and fill in the COVID-19 epidemiological pre-examination triage questionnaire. At the entrance of the hospital, the nurse checked the guidance sheet and took the temperature again. The children with red guidance sheet were checked again and confirmed by pre-examination nurses, and accompanied to the isolation clinic through COVID-19 patients-only entrance. The children with yellow guidance sheet were guided to fever clinic. The children with green guidance sheet could go with their parents to the designated area, and then went to the corresponding consultation area. Health education was carried out throughout the treatment, and the system automatically posted the corresponding outpatient instructions and education courses. Parents would read the courses on their mobile phones and counsel online. The time of pre-examination and the coincidence rate of triage were compared between the two groups.@*RESULTS@#The three-in-one intelligent pre-inspection mode took an average of (25.6±8.0) s for each child, which was significantly shorter than the traditional pre-inspection mode (74.8±36.4) s (@*CONCLUSIONS@#The three-in-one intelligent pre-inspection model can effectively shorten the patient pre-check time, with similar triage coincidence rate to traditional model.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To strengthen pharmacist intervention in prescribing behavior of doctors, so as to further standardize prescribing behavior.METHODS: Through the review of the advantages and disadvantages of the relevant laws, education training and assessment system for prescription intervention in the USA, a deep analysis was made in combination with the Chinese system and the characteristics of the medical staff.RESULTS: A new clinical pathway was introduced to standardize the intervention of doctors′ prescriptions, so as to improve the level of diagnosis and treatment and the environment for medical treatment in China.CONCLUSION: Improving pharmacists′ professional accomplishment and introducing Internet model and intelligent medical technology can improve the linkage among clinical, community medical institutions and social pharmacies, and also enhance the feasibility and reliability of Internet prescription drug purchase intervention. Promote the closed-loop connection and continuous upgrading of the pharmaceutical industry chain, gradually realize the standardization model of diagnosis and treatment, and then promote the results of the overall medical level.

ABSTRACT

Based on artificial intelligence technology, the intelligent medical image recognition refers to the analysis and process of medical images scanned by medical imaging technologies such as X-ray films, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging, and surgical video. Major trends in intelligent medical image recognition include intelligent image diagnosis, three-dimensional reconstruction and registration, intelligent surgery video parsing and so on. Intelligent image diagnosis and three-dimensional reconstruction and registration can improve the efficiency and quality of image recognition, and provide a helpful method for clinical diagnosis and treatment; intelligent surgery video parsing can help surgeons learn and understand surgical procedures, and further guide the operation process. Now the research of intelligent medical image recognition has gained some theoretical and technological achievement and gradually been applied in clinic. In this paper, we summarized the progress of intelligent medical image recognition and put forward the development prospect in this field.

Objective To discuss the use of knowledge graph technology to connect various trivial and fragmented knowledge in various medical information systems and support comprehensive knowledge retrieval and intelligent medical applications such as Q & A and clinical decision support.Methods Based on the construction of medical field ontology and semantic labeling of medical knowledge base,the medical knowledge graph was constructed and applied to intelligent medicine,with chronic disease taken as an example.Results The construction method of medical knowledge graph and its application in semantic analysis,reasoning and disease-assisted diagnosis system based on medical knowledge base were put forward.Conclusion The application of intelligent medicine based on knowledge graph will play an important role in contradiction between the supply of high-quality medical resources and increasing medical requirements.

ABSTRACT

Objective To develop a new intelligent medicine chest to update medical prescription and select medicine automatically based on the patient's requirements.Methods Information interaction was realized with Bluetooth and the connection between Java-based Yiyi health management app and a PLC module of the chest,so that auto dressing,medicine sorting and distribution could be executed according to medical prescription.The medicine chest was composed of PLC,constant-speed motor,sheave,lead rail mechanism,guide slot for medicine distribution,base,stricking mechanism and pushpull electromagnet.Results The chest eliminated medicine abuse,missed use or excessire use of the elderly.Conclusion The chest gains advantages in structure and function,and thus is worthy promoting practically.

The paper elaborates on the design thinking of the outpatient intelligent medicine delivery system under the two parallel Hospital Information Systems (HIS) of the Central Hospital of Wuhan and implements the distribution of medicine delivery windows based on the multi-channel payment methods of the old HIS outpatient system and the preplanned and real-time intelligent medicine delivery based on the new HIS pharmacy system.Using the integrated platform of Ensemble and services of Web Service,it realizes the data interaction among multiple systems.The system operates steadily and the new HIS is well connected with the old.Thus,the efficiency can be enhanced and the quality can be ensured.

Objective To identify the location of medicines in combat readiness medicine cabinet.Methods RFID system was used in combination with series antennas separated in space in combat readiness medicine cabinet.Results The combat readiness medicine cabinet equipped with RFID system could identify the location of medicines in medicine cabinet.It realized the location management and automatic classification statistics for medicines without opening cabinet.It greatly shortened the time in taking medicine in field emergency care.Conclusion Intelligent medicine cabinet based on RFID technology can upgrade the modernization level of sanitation logistics and provide a modern management method for iatrical material of combat readiness of PLA.

ABSTRACT

Objective To design Radio-Frequency Identification(RFID) reader with multi-antennas of different spatial location.Methods Design scheme of RFID reader with multi-antennas of difference spatial location was presented,i.e.a separated setting with a reader and multiple detected antennas was adopted.Each antenna only identified tags in its own area.The receiving information from tags contains antenna code and data in tag's IC.Hence the reader can point the tags position through different antenna code.Results The application of RFID with multi-antennas of different spatial location to management system of combat readiness medicine can provide safe,exact and real-time information collection,processing and query for combat readiness medicine.Conclusion The system can not only provide location identification,but also reduce system cost.It will have wide application in future.
